Both Kjerstin & Nime in Canada are grateful to the PONSFORD family for sharing Maria's journey with us. Missing Maria will not be a problem , its knowing that she is never coming back will be tough. Our special relationship started in 1967, a relationship that others go their whole life to find and some never do. Unfortunately this will now become a memory which will become a treasure. We did not know Maria that well but we were aware of her lovely, gracious nature and her loving support of Jerry. Now in the loving arms of her Saviour she is experiencing the joy of God's presence.

Maria was one of the great characters in my life as a Priest. Very positive and very supportive on all occasions and often with lovely words well chosen and affirming. I have lovely happy memories and my last visit to her in the Royal Bournemouth was very special. I will miss her but Jerry and the family will miss her most of all. May she rest in Peace.
